Requirements of the customer
We were commissioned with the installation and commissioning of a floor guided radiation shielding door with a door leaf weight of 155 tonnes.
The door system is installed in a facility with regular pedestrian traffic. Therefore, personal safety had to be ensured through compliance with the permissible closing force limits in accordance with DIN EN 12453. The closing force measurement was documented, and the permissible values were complied with. Video for the closing force measurement here.
