We received an order for the planning and execution of a secure entrance gate construction to the underground car park of the Eurotower in Frankfurt. The main focus was on the security of the construction. The construction had to give feedback to the bulding’s security system. There should be one entrance for vehicles, one for pedestrians and one for cyclists. The gate should also close securely and safely in case of a storm and offer protection against various external influences. In addition, personal safety had to be ensured by adhering to the allowed clamping forces, in accordance with EN 12453.
